X as in... Gen-X

What actually distinguishes the Gen-X?

Generation X, also referred to as "the forgotten generation," includes those born between 1963 and 1980. This generation is characterized by its diverse skills, ambition and individualism. They are well educated and strive for professional success, although they see the meaning of work primarily in securing their standard of living.

Gen-X attaches great importance to a work-life balance. They strive to balance their personal and professional lives and consciously take time for their family, hobbies and personal development. Time is more important to them than money, because they know that you can't buy time.

Unlike their predecessors, the Baby Boomers, Generation X does not regard work as the sole goal in life. Rather, for them, work is a means to an end to achieve their goals in life and realize their personal ambitions. They are willing to work hard and develop themselves, but they are also looking for a deeper meaning in their work.

Gen-X is a generation that values meaningful and fulfilling work. They are not only looking for financial security, but they are also looking for a job that they enjoy and that will help them grow personally. They are willing to take on responsibility and accept new challenges in order to continually expand their skills and knowledge.

Overall, Generation X is a generation of committed and ambitious people who strive to make the most of their lives. They are willing to fight for their goals and give their work a high priority, as long as they don't have to neglect their personal development and work-life balance in the process.
